Scot Campbell

Director of Clinical Advancement, PT Northwest – Salem, OR

Scot has been a PT for 24 years and is currently an owner in PT Northwest, LLC. He has worked and continues to work seeing patients on a regular basis. The practice is a fully credentialed outpatient rehabilitation company. Prior to his current role he was previously a staff therapist and clinic director for several yrs with PT Northwest. His current role allows Scot to see the diverse treatment styles and documentation styles of PT’s within the group.  Scot graduated from Loma Linda University in 1987. Since then he has worked primarily in outpatient orthopedics and has had diverse con-ed. leading to an eclectic treatment basis. He continues to enjoy learning and implementing new treatment techniques and new technologies into the field of PT to enhance the delivery of services our profession provides.

Paul Christensen
Physical Therapist, OCS, ATC, FAAOMPT

Paul received his Masters in PT in 1979 and a post professional doctorate in 2000 from the University of Southern California. He has been an athletic trainer at San Jose State University, a division 1 school. He has been in clinical practice since 1980. Throughout the 80’s, he spent time training in Norway with Olaf Evjenth and Hans Gunnari, which terminated with a qualification in manual therapy. He is certified as an athletic trainer, strength and conditioning specialist, OCS and is a fellow in AAOMPT. In 2000, he co-founded Anamatix, Inc, which patented a novel software program which allows people to independently perform a physical assessment and receive a streaming video treatment program based on the assessment outcome. The program can be utilized for post surgical or injury rehabilitation and can be found at Currently, he is the owner of OPTM Physical Therapy Group.

Brad Deal

Rehab Director, Stewart Physical Therapy Clinic, Bulington NC

Brad has been a practicing physical therapist for 21 years.  As Rehab Director for Stewart Physical Therapy Clinic, Inc., Brad oversees the operation of nine outpatient facilities including 21 therapists and assistants.  Prior to joining  Stewart Physical Therapy in 2002, Brad served as Western NC Regional Manager for Rehability Corporation.  These duties included overseeing the daily operation of 10 outpatient clinics throughout the Piedmont and Western portions of NC.  Brad also completed his orthotic certification in 2003 and opened Custom Orthotics of NC, LLC. to service the orthotic needs of clients in central NC.  Brad graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1990 with a BS in Physical Therapy.

Sean McKeown

Center Director, PRN PT – La Jolla and San Diego, CA

Sean is the Center Director at both the La Jolla and San Diego Uptown PRN facilities. He has been with PRN for the last 15 years. His La Jolla and San Diego Uptown offices are outpatient orthopaedic facilities which are part of the Physical Rehabilitation Network located throughout California, with locations also in Colorado, Nevada and Washington.  He oversees both facilities as well as practicing as a full time treating therapist. Prior to PRN Sean has held positions as Outpatient Coordinator for a hospital based outpatient program which involved PT, OT, SLP and Cardiac rehab and underwent both JCHO and CARF accreditations. He also was an Administrator for outpatient HEALTHSOUTH facilities in San Diego and with TheraTx as an Administrator overseeing PT, OT and SLP staff.  He graduated in 1989 from Pacific University in Oregon with a Masters in Physical Therapy and Bachelors in Biology. Sean has achieved a credentialed status in mechanical diagnosis and therapy by the McKenzie Institute, USA in 1998. He has been an active member in the American Physical Therapy Association as well as the Health Policy & Administration, Private Practice and Orthopaedic sections.

Darlene Pope

Owner, Sports Spine & Industrial Physical Therapy – Simpsonville, SC

Darlene Pope has been practicing physical therapy for 31 years.  She began her career working for a private practice in NC.  After relocating to SC in 1987, Darlene was employed by Hillcrest Hospital where she became the department manager. Next followed a 12 year tenure with VBS Physical Therapists.  Darlene was the clinic manager of the Simpsonville office and became a junior partner in 1996.  After VBS was acquired by Matrix Rehabilitation, she became the Clinical Operations Manager of 5 VBS/Matrix facilities.  Darlene received the SC Clinic Manager of the Year award in 2000.  Darlene along with 2 partners established Sports Spine & Industrial, Inc. (SSI) in 2002.  She became certified as a Clinical Specialist in Orthopedic Physical Therapy in 2004.  Darlene has served 9 years on the Simpsonville Chamber of Commerce BOD and was awarded the President’s Award for her contributions.  She was appointed by Governor Sanford to the South Carolina Board of Physical Therapy Examiners in 2004.

Jeff Schade

Jeff Schade, PT/ATC – President of Champion Fitness Physical Therapy. Jeff attended the University of Illinois, where he received his athletic training certificate. Later he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in physical therapy at Finch University of Health Sciences / Chicago Medical School.  He has over 21 years of experience as a physical therapist and athletic trainer.  In 1996, he opened his first Champion Fitness Physical Therapy and has now grown into 16 locations around central Illinois.

Matt Van Campen

Director of Pediatrics and Adolescents, PT Northwest – Salem, OR

Matt has been a physical therapist for 12 years.  He started his career as an on-call therapist in 1999 working in the outpatient orthopedic and acute care settings in Oregon, Washington, and Idaho.  He settled into full time work for Salem Hospital where he worked in a Work Injury Management Program for 1.5 years before transitioning into their Outpatient Orthopedic/Sports Therapy clinic.  In 2003 he joined PT Northwest, a Salem, Oregon, outpatient orthopedic private practice group, as a clinical director.  During his tenure at PT Northwest he has been the director at 3 separate locations.  His current location is a one year old start-up clinic trying to fill the local pediatric needs for PT, OT, and Speech Therapy.  In addition to full time patient care, Matt is PT Northwest’s computer documentation program (Clinicient) lead person and also assists with chart review and documentation compliance.  He has a MS in Physical Therapy from Pacific University in Oregon.

John Woolf

Owner, ProActive PT – Tucson,  AZ

A graduate of the Northern Arizona University College of Physical Therapy. He has a masters degree in Exercise and Sports Science and Athletic Trainer Certification from the University of Arizona. John is the former Director of Sports Medicine for The University of Arizona where he coordinated rehabilitation and medical coverage for division I athletes. He belongs to the American Physical Therapy Association and the National Athletic Trainers’ Association. John has lectured in the University of Arizona’s Sports Medicine Fellowship Program and continues to lecture nationally on the topics of diagnosis and management of musculoskeletal pain and the application of a biopsychosocial approach to health care. He is the co-director of the International Academy of Orthopedic Medicine-US( In his spare time John races bicycles in the Tucson community, enjoys his wife, Chris and two children, Natalie and Timber.
