Training Overview


Introduction

All Clinicient Training is done via interactive internet conferencing. All users will be required to complete various training classes, according to their clinic role, prior to using Clinicient applications. Courses are offered every week at various times.


Before You Attend Training

Complete these steps before you attend training:

Clinicient Insight Software Installed: If the software is not already installed, click on the following link: Clinicient Insight Software Downloads.

Training Database Access: You must have a log on to your practice database.

New Organizations: If your organization is implementing Clinicient Software and Services, your organization's implementation manager will give you information on accessing your practice database.

New Users:  If your organization already uses Clinicient and you are a new employee, you will need to request access to a training database, by submitting a support ticket from the Clinicient website. Make sure to include your full name and email address in the request. You will receive a username and password to access your training database via email from Clinicient.


Webinar Setup and Registration

You will need a Windows computer with a broadband internet connection and a telephone. Clinicient uses a web presentation service called GoToWebinar.

You must register for the date on which you plan to attend the webinar. To register for a specific session, please visit the training registration section in the Clincient Customer Support site. (NOTE: To enter this site, you will need your Clinicient Insight credentials. Contact your clinic's administrator if you have not received these yet).

To attend the session, follow the instructions provided in your registration confirmation e-mail.


Voice Conference Setup

Your registration information will also include telephone conferencing instructions. Just call the telephone number and enter the conference code as instructed to join the class. You may want to use a speakerphone, but if you are attending from a noisy environment, we ask that you mute the speakerphone for the benefit of other attendees.

During the class, your instructor will ask for feedback and questions and you can unmute your phone at those times.

Class Offerings

Classes typically range from 1 to 2 hours, plus and additional 1 to 2 hours to complete the training exercises.

Introduction to Clinicent : Accessing Clinicient Insight. Basics of integrated workflow. This is a self guided tutorial taken by all users before taking any other class.

Patient Management: Scheduling, patient payments. Mondays at 9 AM Pacific and Fridays at 12 Noon Pacific.

Clinical Management: Management of patient information using the Clinical Issues dialog and Patient Issues Listing report. Patient transactions scenarios and operation of the Cash Register. Entry of contacts and basic payer entry; Reporting and setup. This class is taken after completing the Patient Management Class.  Tuesdays at 12 Noon Pacfic.

Clinical Documentation: Using Clinicient for documenting evaluations, daily progress notes. This class is taken by therapists after completing the Introduction. Wednesdays at 9:30 AM Pacific and Fridays at 12 Noon Pacfic.

Clinical Documentation Templates: Editing documentation template content. Template Editing is an optional training class and should only be taken by therapist-managers after completing the Clinical Documentation Class and after working knowledge of clinical documentation. Third Tuesday of the month at 12 Noon Pacific Time.
