Clinicient Employee Spotlight: Dana Misorski, Client Executive Director

At Clinicient we have some pretty outstanding employees. So, we decided to lift the veil and introduce our readers to the people who make a difference around the halls, meeting rooms and Slack channels of Clinicient.

With the employee spotlight, we will feature one outstanding employee a month with a blog dedicated to them. Our first employee spotlight features a true leader and friend, our Client Executive Director, Dana Misorski.

Dana has been with Clinicient for two and a half years and leads our Client Executive team as they partner with our clients to grow their practices and improve the lives of the patients in their communities.

Without further ado, let’s get into the spotlight.

Dana, tell me a little about yourself and your role.

  • Where are you located? – I work remotely in beautiful Avon, Connecticut        

What does a typical day look like for you?

It never looks the same which is one of the reasons I love my job. I collaborate across multiple departments within Clinicient to help develop the most effective ways to service our clients, or as I refer to them, our business partners. I touch base everyday with our Operations team to keep my finger on the pulse of important issues. I meet with the Client Success Department to understand what our top objectives are for the day. I spend a lot of time working directly with the Client Executives as well looking for solutions to questions our partners have brought us.

We are constantly working to evolve our performance dashboard which is a metric driven document that allows the Client Executive Team to help individual clients achieve their professional goals. I can’t tell you how much excitement I get from seeing our partners achieve their professional goals – it’s one of my favorite parts of my job.

What’s your favorite part of your role here at Clinicient? What do you like most about your job?

My favorite part of my role is the people I get to interact with every day. This includes both Clinicient team members and our business partners. We are fortunate to have such a great internal team and every Clinicient employee is dedicated to the success of our clients. We live and breath our core values and that is so important to who I am (side note – I was on the team that helped develop our core values and I am so proud of the work we did).

I am invigorated by finding the right way forward and being able to add value to those I am privileged to work alongside.

What’s one piece of advice you would give to all Clinicient clients?

Clinicient’s best practices are tried and true. They were developed by a team of professionals with many many years of experience under their belts. If you are willing to invest in learning from the path others have paved, you have the opportunity to find great success in your business.

What’s your personal motto or mantra?

My personal motto was inspired by a moment many years ago when my friends and I were at a ski house debating whether we should watch a movie or go night sledding. My now husband looked at all of us and said, “are we going to remember tonight if we stay in a watch TV? Let’s go make memories!” And we did.

When you look back at your life, you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did.

From a professional standpoint, my motto is simple:

You can find an excuse or you can find a way.

If you could switch jobs with anyone in the world, who would it be?

I am a philanthropist at heart. One of my passions is to be involved in my community and look for opportunities to help others and make an impact. If I had the opportunity to switch jobs with anyone, I would probably choose Oprah Winfrey. To have the resources and the notoriety to make a difference in the world is my dream.
