Integration Engineer

Role Summary

The Integration Engineer will play a significant role to provide technical support for assigned applications. The Integration Engineer implements and maintains interface technical solutions that enable the organization to achieve its integration goals.

Clinicient employs Integration Engineer to ensure high quality level development of software applications, Integration Engineer will define how the data from our applications will be stored, consumed, integrated and managed by different data consumers. This position requires being adaptable to changing technology environments. Integration Engineer work collaboratively with all participants across software development projects.

Essential Responsibilities

  • The Integration Engineer works with the product managers and business stakeholders of the various healthcare programs & projects in order to understand the business requirements that drive the implementation of clinical interface technical solutions.
  • Maintain and monitor production interfaces and coded logic within the interface engine.
  • Design, development, implementation and maintenance of HL7 solutions.
  • Participates in on-call rotations if applicable.
  • Collaborates with technical and business teams to define unit testing scenarios and scripts in alignment with business and system requirements.
  • Ensures application development deliverables are completed on time, budget, and quality.
  • Possess senior level technical knowledge of assigned application technology.
  • Codes, tests, debugs, implements, and documents programs or technical configuration.
  • Design and execute unit, system and integration test plans for new developments/releases/reports.
  • Provide production support.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to ensure the success of the team and the entire organization

Education and Experience

  • BA or BS degree preferred or other relevant combination of training and experience.
  • 2-5 years practical experience in providing technical support and maintenance in assigned product preferred. Experience with HL7, Cloverleaf, Rhapsody, Mirth, ConnectR or applicable engine preferred. Programming/Coding experience preferred.
  • Experience with JavaScript and Java are preferred.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Healthcare industry experience desirable.
