Nationally recognized physical therapy practice owner to oversee Total INSIGHT Client Executive program and ensure excellence in client service satisfaction
Portland, Ore., June 16, 2016
Clinicient Inc., a leader in outpatient rehabilitation business solutions, welcomes Sturdy McKee, PT, as senior director of client executives. A physical therapy practice owner for more than 15 years and nationally recognized thought leader, McKee will oversee the Clinicient Client Executive team, a select group of experienced business professionals who provide premium business coaching to Total INSIGHT clients. Total INSIGHT Client Executives work cross-functionally across Clinicient to ensure each client’s financial and operational performance expectations are consistently met.
As a powerful combination of software, process automation and expert business coaching, Total INSIGHT handles up to two-thirds of the work involved in the care delivery chain. In 2015, Total INSIGHT customers increased their revenue by 11.1% and by another 8.96% in Q1 2016. These financial gains occurred at the same time that most clinics experienced a squeeze in practice revenue as reimbursement rates decreased and healthcare costs continued to shift to patients.
“I am thrilled to officially join Clinicient after being heavily involved in its excellent Clinicient University and EMPOWER events over the past two years,” said Sturdy McKee, MPT, CEO and founder of San Francisco Sport and Spine Physical Therapy. “Clinicient is truly tapped into the outpatient rehab industry and the creation of the Client Executive team shows their commitment to using data and coaching to help foster best business practices and therapist efficiency. I love helping people succeed, and the decision to join and guide the Client Executive team was a natural extension of this desire.”
A 1996 graduate of the UCSF/SFSU Graduate Program in Physical Therapy, Sturdy McKee has spent over 25 years working on the clinical and operations side of healthcare delivery in nearly every job in an outpatient physical therapy clinic– from aide to billing to CEO and Founder. McKee has spent the last 17 years in private practice while learning and expanding his business education as owner and founder of San Francisco Sport and Spine Physical Therapy. He has served on the Board of Directors of the San Francisco Chapter of the Entrepreneurs Organization (EO) since 2011. Through EO Accelerator McKee has mentored and coached business owners in growing their businesses. He is also a co-founder of ScheduleDoc.co and Major League Orthopaedics (formerly SleepSling, Inc.).
“We are extremely excited to have Sturdy join the Clinicient team in a full-time capacity after several years of superb consulting,” shared Doug Schumann, vice president of customer success at Clinicient. “We support a very close knit community of passionate care providers, and we believe that bringing Sturdy into this role is critical as he truly understands what our clients are dealing with on a daily basis, and has lived it himself. It is critical to our fabric that we have in-house thought leaders like Sturdy McKee, PT, and Jerry Henderson, PT, who can augment our industry-leading solutions and support with expertise and clinical knowledge.”
