Keeping therapy practices informed of industry changes that will impact their organization, and providing solutions to meet these changing needs is at the forefront of everything we do, which is why Clinicient and Keet Health continue to work together to provide the most effective solution to maximize your MIPS payments. The Merit-Based Incentive Payment System (MIPS) is an area that continues to impact the quality of patient care as well as your organization’s bottom line. Regulations are everchanging and it’s important to understand how the current rules, as well as the 2021 Proposed MIPS Rule, will affect your organization.

What are the latest updates on MIPS?

MIPS is evolving from a voluntary program to what will soon be a mandatory requirement. 2021 is around the corner and will be the last year that certain organizations can choose whether to report or not. It will also be the last year that the “exceptional performance bonus” will be available for those that qualify. All therapy providers will be required to participate in 2022. At a penalty or gain of 9% of your total Medicare billings, it is crucial that you find a solution that gives you the tools you need to participate. That is where we come in.

Clinicient and Keet Health as a Seamless Solution.

MIPS continues to be designed to provide incentives for providers for certain quality measures, improvement activities, and the use of EMRs that meet certain standards. MIPS scoring for physical therapists, occupational therapists and qualified speech therapists is based on: Quality Measures as well as Improvement Activities which require providers to attest that they have participated in projects to improve care coordination, beneficiary engagement, and patient safety. Luckily, we can take care of all of this for your organization when you utilize Insight, our therapy-specific EMR in conjunction with Keet Health, our patient engagement platform and Qualified Clinical Data Registry (QCDR).

Keet is focused on the future of our industry, staying innovative and, most important to us, is fully aligned with the ProRehab philosophy on care, outcomes and education – bringing us closer to our ultimate goal of providing quality care for our patients.”
